WEBINAR DESCRIPTION
The definitive CBAM phase starts on 1 January 2026, yet the EU legislature has not finalised all related acts and data publications. This creates significant cost uncertainties for importers of CBAM goods. At the same time, producers of CBAM goods aiming to support their EU customers with CBAM compliance still face open questions regarding future requirements.
In this webinar, carboneer presents the latest legislative updates from the producers’ perspective. We identify and rank the most relevant tasks that producers can undertake to demonstrate CBAM readiness and strengthen their position as reliable, competitive partners for EU-based customers. These include clear communication, the provision of verified CBAM data, reducing product emissions, adapting contracts with CBAM-related clauses, and managing or hedging CBAM-related exposure.
We show how a comprehensive approach to CBAM readiness can evolve into a genuine competitive advantage and improved customer relations.
